2D + 1D = yesss
Quite a cool vid, a step on from microsoft’s surface and diving headfirst towards a minority report reality. I can’t wait for the 2D browsing structure is disolved into a fully immersive 3D environment.
I’m sceptical about how useful it’d be when navigating around google reader or facebook, but i can’t wait for the developers to prove me wrong and for the rest of society to catch on so it drops to a low enough pricepoint so all i need to do is tick the box when i’m customising my next macbook…

I’m not yet convinced that this is worth anything more than simple entertainment value. I mean, they’ve copied a Holywood movie well enough. But who wants to be flapping their arms for 8 hours when you can just twist your wrist and poke your fingers a few hundred thousand times with a mouse?
Don’t get me wrong, I do believe it will eventually become worthwhile, but ONLY when software developers create something to harness the power of flappy-nav michael jackson stylee user input.
