Cole Rise – hovering over a desolate landscape

Lady Worthington was telling me last night that I have a definite style of art that I’m drawn to. Things that:

  • Look like one thing but is actually another
  • Have  a level of depth and skill involved, perceived or otherwise
  • A sense of foreboding; a general feel of unease
  • Not too decorative, something that looks ‘artful’
  • That’s by an artist that’s on the up (i.e. if I were to buy it, I’d be a good investment)

This beautiful photography by Cole Rise ticks all the boxes for me. beautiful stuff.
