gaspard yurkievich, (ooh la la), spring summer 2010

le parisienne designer, gaspard yurkievich has caught my eye… his designs are all soft fluid movement and ultra-feminine silky-softness. and the colour-palette, oooh the colour palette. it’s all skinny latte, with a dollop of extra  creamy cream and caramel sauce on top, with modern black trimmings (and we all know how much i like black)… and a tiny touch of spring time blue-skies around the ankles. and hats, even! next time i shimmy over to paris, i will make a point of dropping by his little boutique and saying “Bonjour. J’aime votre porte. Avez-vous ma taille?” and maxing out my credit card and squealing with glee. woops!
