living with the lark

Lark began in england in 2005 when allison jones started to make things using the vintage materials she had been collecting since she was a teenager. her whimsical range of hand-made toys and vintage dresses were bought by some lovely shops and so she decided to create her own business, combining her passion for craft with the skills she had gained through her career in publishing. she now runs the business/blog/online store ‘lark’ with her australian husband and lives just outside of melbourne, australia.

here, via the design files, you can take a wee little peek in to Allison’s wonderful, cosy abode of old fashioned arts and crafts charm and design memorabilia. i love her house. it is in equal parts olde-worldy chic and children’s play room, never taking itself too seriously.
