When Ashish said “I saw a gypsy girl outside the Gare du Nord in her pyjamas and a granny knit… I just thought she looked really cool.” in regards to the inspirations for his latest collection, he wasn’t joking.
Maybe that’s where I’m going wrong. When I see a gypsy girl outside the Gare du Nord [...]

When I was a teenager I went through a few fashion phases. The first and finest phase I think was the homie look. I was a wicked homie. I could have probably even got my sisters friends to bash you. However, if got a second chance at being a teen this is what I’d wear……

Araks is another new designer who caught my eye. Launching her first ready to wear collection in 2006 and 6 years prior to that producing lingerie under the same name. She definitely one to watch. Here’s some of my favorite looks from her latest collection from New York.

It’s been two weeks since my last post….tut tut tut. I’ve been shooting for Page Magazine so have been more than a tad busy. I’ll give you sneak peak from that shoot soon.

Every fashion week since it’s creation in 2005 MAN has created a platform for some of London’s most promising up and comers. The show is sponsored by Topman and has seen the likes of Kim Jones, Derek Walker, Siv Stoldal and James Long parade their latest creations. In spring/summer 2010 the chosen ones were; Katie [...]

Couture collections are the good, the bad and the ugly in fashion intensified. When it’s good it’s breath taking, but when it’s bad it’s….well, really bad. What I’ve come to realise over the years is whether you’d actually wear this stuff or not is beside the point, it’s all about creating pieces of art. I [...]

You might cop a few stares being a green thumb after dark. However, any fashion photography that has been executed in a way that is as good as the concept itself, is a winner in my book. This is a great shoot for Vogue by photographer: Raymond Meier and fashion stylist: Elissa Santisi.

Hedi Slimane is one of my favorite photographers. This is an editorial he shot for the very first Vogue Hommes Japan issue in July 2008.
I vividly remember seeing this editoral in Tokyo whilst killing some time in the basement at La Foret shopping mall (worth checking out if in Tokyo) and just thinking ‘WOW’.
wow.

I’ve been showcasing a lot of spring summer 2010 lately, because to be honest I get a little sidetracked by all the new shiny stuff.
However, Hermes managed to gain my attention very quickly with this very very sleek winter campaign shot in Scandinavia.

Continuing my favorite picks from spring/ summer 2010 I just couldn’t go any further without mentioning the very fun; print clash look. I’d imagine an easy look to master and perhaps the first look I ever put together myself, it’s all a bit of fun. An explosion of colour and print; the brighter and bolder [...]

It feels an age since I was combing through the hundreds of spring/summer 2010 collections. I’ll share some of my fav’s over the coming weeks.
For your first bit of eye candy and one of my personal favorite looks; the button up shirt and trouser combo. Androgynous , minimal, slick, and utterly comfortable what more could [...]
