We love it when people get in touch with us and our little website. We especially love it when those people are creative types who make amazingly wonderfully beautiful creations that just make us burst with smiles.
Shen Plum is one such creative peep. I guess I was captivated by the simplicity & narrative that she [...]

Lady Worthington and I were meandering around Hoxton Square, when we were transfixed by some of the most intricately detailed and entrancing large-scale pencil drawings we’d seen. Upon further investegation, we assertained that we’d not only stumbled across an exhibition by the immensely tallented Kate Atkin but were lucky enough to be talking to her [...]

It’s been a day of joy for me. first I recieved a lovely postcard from Shoreditch illustrator Mr Bingo, and I found an email from another lovely illustrator who goes by the name of Monsieur Cabinet!
Does anyone have a real name anymore!? (*raises fists to the sky*)

A illustrator and fashion student, Niki Pilkington creates lovely drawings – highly skilled and finely crafted, creating a neat juxtaposition between their visual effect and stereotypically ditsy ‘fashionista’ subject matter and the humble medium of a blue Bic biro.
“I felt that using a ball point pen would keep the portrait simple and more about what [...]

Straight outta Nashville, here’s some amazing drawing from Chris Scarborough.
I’m loving the incredible detail, playfulness, and those cheeky grins in his human characters.
after dropping these into a post, i’ve just seen some more photography… which will be no doubt featured in a post super soon.
bathe yourself.

Do you roll up sticky tape when you peel it off? Matt Bryans does… Big time.
in one of his latest works, Matt has created a ball out consisting of 26.5km (or 250 rolls) of Gaffer tape.
I’m impressed. what do you think?
also in keeping with his penchant for manipulated found objects, matt works with ‘erased newspaper [...]

british artist, charlie mackesy has found that etching his way through life has helped bring some sort of metaphysical clarity.
charlie says: “if you look at the paintings, a fair proportion seem to have some kind of angel or spiritual thing going on. I’m aware that this may seem a little odd . . . I’m [...]

Claire Scully graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2006 with an MA in Communication Design. since then she’s been working as freelance illustrator. I think she’s shit hot. Drawing lifelike birds isn’t exactly original, but then neither is most of the work out there. Claire’s brilliance, is in it’s subtlety.

Morgan Blair is an illustrator from Brooklyn, NY. and well, she sounds quite funny. apparently she’s focusing on advancing her interest in trees, legos and excellent music. Her ambitions for the present and future include adventure, survival, seeing magma and a real armadillo up close, and making art forever.
too cool for me.
