raindrop illuminated umbrella

Designer and general rain-dweller Sang-Kyun Park has created a personal hydro electric plant and dumped it into an umbrella. LightDrops converts raindrops into electricity which in turn illuminates the umbrella through tiny LEDs embedded in the fabric. certain to lighten up your mood on a dreary day. super_nature_design

first off, i love the name ’super nature design’. and well, they just showed two very cool  art installations as part of the electronic arts festival in Shanghai. rabbit wonderland is a large outdoor LED based-sculpture based on the rabbit, super lucky in Chinese culture. the piece brings flashes of light, colour and insanity to Shanghai.
