You might cop a few stares being a green thumb after dark. However, any fashion photography that has been executed in a way that is as good as the concept itself, is a winner in my book. This is a great shoot for Vogue by photographer: Raymond Meier and fashion stylist: Elissa Santisi.

Hedi Slimane is one of my favorite photographers. This is an editorial he shot for the very first Vogue Hommes Japan issue in July 2008.
I vividly remember seeing this editoral in Tokyo whilst killing some time in the basement at La Foret shopping mall (worth checking out if in Tokyo) and just thinking ‘WOW’.

the appearance of fancy-pantsy head-dresses/head-bands/head-decor have become much more common in recent months. from turbans, to little pill-boxes with netting, to larger-than-life glittering bows, al la katie grand, the new (non-functional) head-wear has come a looong way from the traditional “fascinators” usually reserved for english weddings.
